Activities
For exercise, there are plenty of walks on and around our farm. A favourite one is through the Bluegum forest, down to the picturesque dam and on to the river shaded by Pine forest.
The farm and surrounding area is a bird watcher's paradise. You can try your hand at trout fishing in our dam. Local wildlife includes Cape Otters living in the river and buck that make their appearance. Other things to do in the area include swimming in the river, tubing down the six rapids, mountain biking and
horse riding.
Golfers can arrange a game at the Sakabula Club in Howick, or at the nearby Bosch Hoek Estate Golf Club, one of the prettiest golf courses in the country.
And of course, there is the Midlands Meander. Our guesthouse is ideally situated in the heart of this famous arts and craft route, which could keep you busy for days!
