The hotel offers luxurious hotel accommodation with 100 upgraded bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, including two upmarket suites. Every detail has been given the utmost attention, to ensure that
you enjoy a productive stay in our fine hotel. To this end, all bedrooms are equipped with the finest accessories available, including a remote-controlled colour TV set with four channel DSTV, a
hairdryer conveniently installed at the dressing table mirror, a personal telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, all decorated with fine linen and quality upholstery.
The Mandela and King Goodwill suites were suitably named after two of our most famous frequent guests, and have accommodated several other high profile celebrities and politicians who choose to
stay at the hotel when in the city.
The newly upgraded wing - Rooms 201 to 235 - boasts four star grading. This has been done at great expense and is well worth experiencing for just a little extra comfort.

Standard Rooms ***

The Nelson Mandela Suite ***
Suite 120, the Nelson Mandela Suite, suitable name after our past President's chosen richards bay hotel room when in Richards Bay, is on the ground floor. A private sliding door onto the pool area,
and a lounge area with dining facilities for five provide for generous private entertainment. The King-size bed and a bath and shower facility are fitting for high profile guests.
The King Goodwill Suite ****
Suite 220, the King Goodwill Suite on the first floor also includes a stocked mini-bar along with the all the other accessories listed for Suite 120. The King Goodwill Suite has recently been
totally revamped to increase your luxury experience.

The Wedding Package
The Richards Hotel's wedding package includes spending your wedding night in our honeymoon suite, enjoying a bottle of sparkling wine over a late night snack. On waking as the newly wed's, relax in
bed over a full English breakfast buffet, or sojourn to the Mossel Restaurant. A commemorative silver-plated cake knife engraved with your names and the date of your wedding will be presented to you
on departure.
The Wedding Reception
Who really wants to tire themselves with the wedding decorations or the guest seating plans - big round tables with generous white table clothes - when about to be married? Wouldn't you rather
arrive from your weddiing ceremony to a red carpet roll-out at the main entrance to be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine.
Our staff will wait on you from the bar facility - inside or outside the function room - during the reception, keeping glasses full and tables clear of finished courses, chosen from a wide variety
of menus. Food is normally cleared before 22h00. A public address system is provided to ensure that everyone hears the speeches and toasts. Tables are set for the wedding cake and gifts and a dance
floor can be incorporated into the wedding seating plan if required.
The Wedding Budget
Flexibility is one of the values that sets the Richards Hotel apart from other wedding venues. The wedding rate is based on two elements: the choice of menu and the total number of people. Things
to consider:

Package Two :
- A glass of Sparkling Wine for your guests on their arrival.
- Standard floral table arrangements, a main table arrangement, a bridal bouquet and ten (10) button-hole corsages.
- Draping at the back of main table with valences and fairy lights, draping of pillars, draping of main table and white chair covers.
- The Wedding Party may provide the following:
- All floral arrangements for the function.
- Any decor that is required, other than that available at the hotel.
- A wedding cake.
- All music.
- Draping, in any colour can be arranged on request.
